The Ministry of Environmental Protection, supported by ENVAP 3 project funded by Sweden, presented the status of negotiation position for Chapter 27 to representatives of civil sector in Belgrade on 17 December 2018.
The presentation held in the City Council included a part related to Directive Specific Implementation Plans (DSIPs) for the areas of industrial pollution, waste management and nature protection. Head of Negotiation Group 27, Mr. Ivan Karić, and Secretary, Ms. Sandra Milićević Sperlić, introduced the civil sector representatives into the status of negotiation position, as well as activity plan of the Negotiation Group 27 in the coming period.
Assistant Minister responsible for Environmental Management, Mr. Aleksandar Vesić, and Head of the Department for Integrated Permits, Ms. Nada Lukačević, indicated the importance of DSIPfor Industrial Emissions Directive (IED), and support provided to the Ministry in the development of this document through IED Serbia project, funded by Sweden.
IED Serbia project manager, Ms. Bojana Vukadinović, and financial expert on the project, Mr. Đorđe Mitrović, presented activities related to the development of DSIP for IED, structure of the document and analyses conducted so as to define a list of industrial installations which will need longer period for implementation of necessary measures aimed at complying emission limit values with the requirements of the Directive.
