In the scope of the project “Green Transition – Implementation of the Directive on Industrial Emissions in Serbia 2021-2025”, a two-day training was held in the Ministry of Environmental Protection – Assessment of application and drafting of integrated permit.
Participants of the event were greeted by Ms. Aleksandra Imširagić Đurić, Assistant Minister, and presentations on the new IED Serbia project, Industrial Emissions Directive, and Integrated Permits were held by members of the project team – Bojana Vukadinović, project manager, Riccardo Quaggiato, key technical expert, and Aleksandar Ćosović, collaborator on the IED Serbia project.
In the continuation, national technical experts on the project, Snežana Lekić-Rašović and Elena Janković, spoke about the key issues related to integrated permits, from the submission of the application to potential obstacles and setting permit conditions for their issuance.
The workshop was attended by employees from the Ministry, the provincial secretariat, and the city of Belgrade who work on issuing integrated permits, as well as representatives of other departments of the Ministry that deal with waste water, noise emissions, accidents, and other issues covered by the IPPC permit.
