With the support of Sweden within ENVAP 3 project, a series of meetings – technical consultations – were held on 6 November 2018 in Brussels, in the premises of General Directorate for Environment of the European Commission. The meeting was attended by delegation from the Ministry of Environmental Protection of Serbia and the European Commission Expert Team, who are responsible for specific directives in sectors of industrial pollution and climate change.
Representatives of the IED Serbia project also participated in the meeting and supported the Ministry in considering issues related to industrial pollution. The discussions were held with the European Commission experts about technical details related to transposition and implementation of the Industrial Emissions Directive, as well as about details pertaining to drafting of Directive Specific Implementation Plan for this Directive, which is a part of Negotiation Position of the Republic of Serbia for Chapter 27.
