Informative meeting on the ”Status of Negotiation Position and Obligations of Industry within Chapter 27” was organised by the Ministry of Environmental Protection in cooperation with Serbian Chamber of Commerce and Cleaner Production Centre of the Faculty of Technology and Metallurgy, supported by ENVAP and IED projects funded by Sweden.
Representatives of the Ministry, together with experts – project team members – presented activities related to status of Negotiation Position, as well as with obligations of industry within Chapter 27. Specific attention was paid to implementation of the Industrial Emissions Directive (IED) and drafting of the Directive Specific Implementation Plan for IED, as well as implementation of directives in the areas of chemicals and waste management.
The IED Serbia project team presented activities related to drafting of the Directive Specific Implementation Plan (DSIP) for IED, structure of DSIP, as well as all aspects of technical, financial and socio-economic analysis covering some industrial installations which will need additional deadlines for complying with best available techniques and requirements of the Directive.
