Workshop for students “Introduction to the Industrial Emissions Directive” was held online on December 9, 2020. After introductory remarks from the prof. Dr. Petar Uskoković, dean of the Faculty of Technology and Metallurgy, University of Belgrade, Project Manager Dr. Bojana Vukadinović and Riccardo Quaggiato, IED Serbia Key Expert, presented the project main components. Ms. Sandra Milićević Sperlić, Head of the Department for European Integration, from the Ministry of Environmental Protection, held the presentation on preparation process of the Negotiation Position for Chapter 27 – Environment and Climate Change. Workshop also offered a lecture on the Industrial Emissions Directive and related topics by Ms. Ida Reuterswärd, First Secretary of the Embassy of Sweden in Belgrade, while Dr. Tom Stafford, international expert of the project presented examples of good practices from the industry as well as experience in the implementation of the Directive in European Union. Dr. Melina Kalagasidis Krušić served as a moderator of the discussion that followed.
