Support of Sweden and Norway to the Industrial Emissions Reduction in Serbia

At the Faculty of Technology and Metallurgy, University of Belgrade, two projects are being implemented that are aimed at reducing industrial emissions – IED Serbia supported by Sweden and eVOC Serbia supported by Norway. This is why we prepared a leaflet on Nordic cooperation in the implementation of the Industrial Emissions Directive and Green Transition in Serbia. Both projects contributed to the preparation of the Negotiating Position for Chapter 27, part of the recently opened Cluster 4 – Green Agenda and Sustainable Connectivity in the negotiation process with the European Union.

You can also read what Karin McDonald, Head of the Development Cooperation Section at the Embassy of Sweden in Belgrade said about the cooperation with the University of Belgrade, as well as Geir Håkon Johansen Deputy Head of Mission at the Royal Norwegian Embassy in Belgrade.

We also wrote about the activities that are being implemented within both projects, such as cooperation with the environmental inspectiors, activities with students and, info centers that offer continuous support to all stakeholders.

You can view the leaflet here.
