The IED Serbia project has published a new leaflet dedicated to the educational programme “Eco-Heroes”, implemented in cooperation with the Faculty of Technology and Metallurgy, University of Belgrade. The publication presents the results of workshops designed for primary school pupils, which, through interactive experiments, an animated film, and teamwork, introduce the youngest generations to the topics of industrial pollution, circular economy, and sustainable development.
The “Eco-Heroes” workshops highlighted the importance of engaging children in environmental protection topics from an early age, encouraging them to become responsible citizens and future leaders of the green transition. The leaflet features statements from participants and teachers, showcases the programme’s methodology, and emphasises the importance of educating children about industrial pollution, as well as the role of students who participated in delivering the workshops.
