The City Administration of Subotica, Secretariat for Agriculture and Environmental Protection, has passed a decision on issuing an integrated permit to the operator AD “Imlek” Belgrade, for the operation of the installation and carrying out activities related to milk processing and cheese production at the production site in Subotica.
The draft integrated permit for this company was prepared within the “IED Serbia” project, in cooperation with representatives of the City Administration of Subotica, with the engagement of national experts. The draft permit is harmonised with the applicable Rulebook on the content and appearance of the integrated permit.
The integrated permit covers all activities carried out within the installation, including key processes related to reception, processing and packaging of dairy products. By issuing this permit the compliance of plant operation with the requirements of the Law on Integrated Pollution Prevention and Control is ensured, as well as with the principle of applying best available techniques (BAT).
