The IED Serbia project establishes collaboration between the Ministry of Environmental Protection of the Republic of Serbia, the Faculty of Technology and Metallurgy at the University of Belgrade, and Sweden, with a special focus on involving students in project activities. In this way, current and future students are provided with the opportunity to gain knowledge about sustainable industrial practices and develop a responsible attitude towards the environment. By participating in workshops, seminars, internships, and various events and initiatives, students contribute creative and innovative solutions to the project, while gaining the skills and confidence to become future change-makers and help achieve high EU environmental standards.
Within the project, numerous activities with students have been organised in cooperation with project partners. For the first time, a series of lectures titled “Application of Environmental Protection Regulations: From Theory to Practice” was held for final-year students at the Faculty of Technology and Metallurgy, University of Belgrade, with the support of the Ministry of Environmental Protection of the Republic of Serbia.
