The project “Green Transition – Implementing Industrial Emissions Directive in Serbia 2021-2027” was successfully presented at the 20th International Environmental Protection and Natural Resources Fair, EcoFair 2024, held from October 14 to 16 in Hall 3 of the Belgrade Fair.
At the fair, the project promoted its activities through printed and promotional materials created during the current and previous phases of the project. The presentation aligned with the fair’s primary goal – promoting solutions that contribute to environmental protection and the reduction of industrial emissions. Visitors had the opportunity to learn firsthand about the project’s activities, while the project team provided insights into ongoing and future activities, publications, and plans through direct interaction with attendees.
The team also held presentations for media representatives, further highlighting the importance of implementing the Industrial Emissions Directive in Serbia and the significant steps towards the green
EcoFair, held under the slogan “Nature has the Message,” is the leading event in the region, dedicated to key environmental protection topics, focusing on the green and circular economy, the recycling industry, renewable energy sources, and waste management. The fair brings together key stakeholders – from institutions, equipment manufacturers, operators, and local governments to public utility companies, professionals, and projects – to showcase innovative practices and solutions that contribute to preserving natural resources and reducing the negative impact on the environment.
