The Thirteenth Newsletter of the IED Serbia Project has been Released

The thirteenth edition of the IED Serbia Project Newsletter has been published, featuring the latest information on activities carried out and results achieved in the last quarter of 2025.

In this issue, we highlight the interview with Ms Sylvia Bakardzhieva, an international expert engaged in the IED Serbia project and a legal consultant with extensive experience in the EU regulatory framework in the fields of environmental protection and climate policy. She provides an expert overview of current developments related to the CBAM mechanism, expectations regarding the introduction of carbon pricing in Serbia, as well as the ongoing preparations for the EU ETS 2 system in the European Union.

This edition also provides updates on integrated permits, organised workshops and study visits, missions conducted by international experts, and current calls and news related to industrial emissions, the green transition and alignment with the EU acquis.

The newsletter also contains multimedia content, including photographs and embedded links providing access to additional news, video materials, photo galleries and publications shared through the project’s communication channels.
