Within the framework of the IED Serbia project, the second meeting of the Working Group for the revision of the Directive Specific Implementation Plan (DSIP) for the Industrial Emissions Directive (IED) was held on Thursday, 12 March 2026.
The meeting took place in the green room of the Ministry of Environmental Protection and gathered members of the Working Group, which comprises around 50 permanent members, including representatives of various sectors and departments of the Ministry, relevant institutions, and experts involved in the preparation of this document.
During the meeting, an overview of the activities carried out so far in the revision of the DSIP was presented, including the results of the analysis of operators’ compliance with Best Available Techniques (BAT) across all categories of industrial activities. The first draft of the revised Directive Specific Implementation Plan was also presented, together with the proposed structure of the annexes and the plan for the next steps in the drafting process.
During the discussion, members of the Working Group exchanged views and proposals aimed at further improving the document and establishing an effective framework for the implementation of the Industrial Emissions Directive in the Republic of Serbia.
